Back-end (Python) Developer

Job description

About us

L1NDA is a fast growing Dutch SaaS work platform. We truly believe happy employees are the crucial factor for long-term company success. However, the next generation employees have new demands for how they want to work. L1NDA has the ambition to become the online work platform for finding, connecting, managing and paying the employees of the future.

As we grow we are dedicated to maintain our culture of openness, diversity, ownership and data/fact driven decisions.

About you

You are a developer who cares as much about software architecture and engineering practices as you do about providing a great experience to users.

You understand that excellence in software development is as much about people and culture as it is about technology and process. You believe that your role as a developer is to be an engaged professional and valuable member of an autonomous, self-organizing team.

You never stop learning, but you also enjoy being a mentor to others and love sharing your knowledge. You are not afraid to take on daunting challenges. You care about doing what’s right and won’t settle for doing what’s convenient, and expect the same of your co-workers.

Your role

As part of a small development team you will play an active role in innovating our platform with new services, one that will not be limited to just coding. Because we believe in working as a team everyone gets the space to contribute, regardless of experience and education, and be involved in all the choices we make.

Some of the things we expect you to contribute to:

  • Work together to build a strong, healthy, inclusive and open engineering culture.

  • Collaborate with developers, designers and product people.

  • Lay the foundation for a gradual transition to a more micro-services oriented architecture.

  • Contribute to a development lifecycle and tooling setup where we can deploy flawless and bug free releases with a single command. (Hey, we can dream!)

  • Play a role in recruiting and interviewing new team members.

  • Work with us towards the next phase, in which we intend to make our product much smarter (AI, machine learning).

  • Picking places to have lunch.
